What is My Alter Ego?
My Alter Ego is a stream of conscious comic, created with only a pen and paper. i think of a loose idea for what the comic will be about, and then create a full comic panel by panel, often times not knowing what will be in the next panel. My Alter Ego was created as an exercise in art, cartooning and creation.

What exactly is Dr. Cheese a doctor of? Where are his credentials!?
What is Maurice?
That's a good question, Erik. Doc Cheese really hasn't shown anyone his credentials, so we can only guess that he has a doctorate in Botany, or something else plant based. We can also infer that he holds a high standing in the community that he is able to gather all the parents in one place for a meeting about a vegetable.
Maurice appears to be a small, discolored woman. I can only guess at her sex since Dr.Cheese introduced Maurice as his wife. Perhaps she is a Frankenstein's monster of sorts, based of the skin color and odd facial features.
Jeff, I'm fairly certain you outed yourself as a racist.
